Laura is a communications professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit marketing and public relations, sponsorship and partnership management, sports marketing, and event creation and execution. She has a proven track record in cultivating and growing relationships combined with project management experience to coordinate marketing programs (company and product positioning, brand and logo creation, internal and external communications and media) for consumer and technical products, manufacturing and transportation companies. 

Prior to joining Archie Group, Laura was the marketing communications manager for the Darien Community Association. There she  implemented the nonprofit’s strategy across all programs, the DCA Thrift Shop, the DCA Meadowlands estate (event venue), and was responsible for all marketing materials, public relations, social media, and website content. Previously Laura was the communications and events manager at the YWCA where she developed all the marketing communications for their website and social media, and coordinated with community volunteers to create successful events. 

Earlier in her career, Laura was the director of Performance Racing Teams for Parametric Technology Corporation. She created, led and managed the strategic sponsorship marketing program for 30 worldwide highly competitive racing teams included car racing teams from Formula One (Ferrari and McLaren), NASCAR, INDYCAR (Penske) and America’s Cup yacht racing teams (Prada and Oracle). Her strengths lie in identifying key revenue partners and implementing unique experiential marketing events to promote B2C and B2B relationship building.

Laura is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS degree in mechanical engineering. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and has two grown children.
